Harmony weighed 16lbs 1oz at her 4 month appointment... she also is 25 inches long now!
Even though a number of weeks ago I joyfully announced that she was sleeping through the night... she is no longer. It is as though the next day she decided that sleep was just not for her. She now gets up 3 to 4 times a night to nurse and her mommy is VERY tired and wondering what happened to her perfect sleeping baby. She does seem to be on her way to teething in that she bites on everything, sucks her lower lip in and is drooling more... but so far I feel no little teeth poking through. So... deep sigh for poor tired mommy (and daddy too as it wakes him as well).
Hope is doing great with the Potty Training! We have had our share of puddles but mostly because she is just too into her play to want to leave or she is trying to get there and just doesn't make it in time. The Poo... hum, that that little stinker knew exactly how to get the poo in the potty and was just not choosing to. Since receiving her Scooter she has gone in the potty every time (I say that loosely because somehow the poo ends up all over the potty, the floor and her, don't ask me how because she wants privacy when she goes). So I'd say we are on our way! She wears pull-ups at night but other than that she is in big girl panties!!!
Now to the good stuff!
We had a wonderful visit with Shane's Dad and Stepmom this last week!
Ya, for Nana and Grandpa! The girls had SO much fun with them.
When they arrived we had a Surprise Un-Birthday Party planned for them. The girls love birthday parties and we never get to celebrate with Nana and Grandpa so we thought it would be a great time. The girls helped make and decorate the cake and of course had to help blow the candles out too!
Nana and Grandpa got to meet Harmony for the first time
and Grandpa turned out to be the Baby Whisperer.
We enjoyed some beautiful weather at the park!
The girls had fun looking for treasures in the creek!
The next day we went to the Saturday Market downtown
and then home for some fun in the sprinklers!
We had a lovely visit and wish that we didn't live so far away from each other!
