Visit with Nana and Grandpa

Shane's dad and step-mom came to visit us this last weekend.  It was a great visit even though the temperatures were above 100 degrees.  In Chico there isn't a whole lot to do that isn't outside so we did our best to stay cool while still having fun.

The first day they were here we went to The Barry R. Kirshner Wildlife Foundation and saw lions and tigers and bears (oh my!). The girls were also able to pet reptiles.

The next day we visited the Saturday Farmer's Market and bought some yummy local fruits and veggies.  After a delicious meal at Mom's restaurant downtown we came home and let the girls entertain us.
Haven and Nana played doll house and read some of the new books we got at the library.  While Hope dressed up and danced for Grandpa.  It was a very fun time!

The morning after they left Hope saw the cup that Grandpa had been using for his coffee and said, "oh no... whar Papa?"  The girls really enjoyed their time with their grandparents!!
