Bees

The daughters of our neighbors to be introduced Haven to a new friend.  Haven was never a bug girl but of course if your new girl friends like it it must be good and she now very much likes Roly Polys. 
These bugs are actually called Armadillidiidaes and are small black bugs that can roll into a ball when frightened.  They are now a common visitor in our home. 
Haven creates homes for them with beds, tables, pools and treats for them to eat.  She also plays with them till they are "so tuckered out" that they cease to move and need to be put back outside to "recover".  She knows they are dead but Hope doesn't really understand that concept yet and they are special to Hope too.

To Hope, these small creatures are Bees.  That is what Hope calls all bugs... Bees.  Hope loves the Bees but does NOT want to touch them.  She likes to see them move around and wants to know where the Bees are at all times.  "Whar Bee? Whar Bee?"  It is so cute how she says it that now we all call them Bees.
